Infrastructure Pillar Manager

Professional Level Certification

What is the Infrastructure Pillar Manager certification about?

Pillar Managers are individuals who pass the professional-level requirements needed to implement the Campus Incident Management System (CIMS) and harden infrastructure in accordance with the campus-community resilience blueprint.

What does the Infrastructure Pillar Manager role involve?

A Pillar Manager is a member of a Buck Stop Assurance Team (BSAT). Each team member reports to an RRI Engineer and earns a professional-level certification as a program manager responsible for building, hardening, and maintaining one or more of the Infrastructure Pillars comprising the model campus resilience blueprint. Pillar Managers are responsible for recruiting and coordinating Reasonable Care Champions who are engaged to directly build out the model and harden infrastructure.  As designated alternates, Pillar Managers receive the same intensive training as the RRI Engineer.

Who can become an Infrastructure Pillar Manager?

A Pillar Manager must be a responsible adult that completes the training and passes the quiz. This person can be either a full- or part-time employee or a consultant of a campus subscribed to the CIMS platform.
